Welcome to Shining Mountain Waldorf School

Shining Mountain Waldorf School is a Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 school that is fully accredited by ACIS, the Association of Colorado Independent Schools, and AWSNA, the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America.

Our Waldorf curriculum provides a well rounded academic education that is enlivened by the arts, music, movement, foreign languages, and community festivals. Our program fosters independent, imaginative thinking, healthy social interaction, and a love for learning that prepares students for college and university admission. Shining Mountain is part of the Waldorf education movement, founded in 1919, with over 1000 schools in over 80 countries.

Fairy Blossom, our new Parent-Child program is now enrolling . . .
. . . for Fall, Winter & Spring. Join us with your little one (age 9 month to 3 years) in a home-like environment, for 2 hours per week, under the guidance of our Early Childhood Teacher, Mary Beth Fifer. There will be opportunities to ask questions about Waldorf early childhood education, and discuss child development topics. 8-9 week sessions. For more information, click here .
